How we want OriaNest to feel.

Purpose: These Community Guidelines are intended to explain the behavior and content standards for OriaNest. They should be reviewed alongside the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before launch.

Our community

OriaNest is designed to be a welcoming place where women can connect, discover communities, share experiences, and build meaningful relationships.

We want OriaNest to feel warm, respectful, and safe without expecting every member to think, live, or communicate in the same way.

1. Treat people with respect

Do:

• speak to other members as people;
• disagree without attacking the person;
• respect boundaries;
• give people room to participate at their own pace; and
• use inclusive, non-threatening language.

Do not:

• harass, bully, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or repeatedly target another member;
• encourage others to gang up on someone;
• make credible threats of violence;
• use humiliation or intimidation to silence someone; or
• repeatedly contact someone after they have asked you to stop.

2. No hate or discriminatory abuse

Content that attacks, dehumanizes, or promotes violence or discrimination against people based on protected characteristics is not permitted.

Different viewpoints and respectful disagreement are allowed. The standard is conduct and content that crosses into harassment, targeted abuse, or prohibited discriminatory content.

3. Protect privacy

Do not post or share another person's private information without authorization.

Examples include:

• home addresses;
• private phone numbers;
• personal email addresses;
• private financial information;
• passwords;
• private communications;
• sensitive location information; or
• other information that could reasonably put someone at risk.

Do not use OriaNest to expose, threaten to expose, or solicit another person's private information.

4. Be authentic

Do not impersonate another person, organization, or business.

Do not create deceptive accounts or intentionally misrepresent your identity or affiliation in a way that could mislead or harm others.

5. No scams or harmful activity

Do not use OriaNest to:

• defraud or scam another person;
• solicit money through deception;
• distribute malware or malicious links;
• facilitate illegal activity;
• threaten or encourage violence;
• exploit another person;
• engage in trafficking or exploitation; or
• coordinate other harmful conduct.

6. Sexual and exploitative content

OriaNest does not permit sexually explicit content involving minors or content that sexualizes, exploits, or facilitates abuse of minors.

Sexually explicit content that violates applicable law or the Terms of Service may also be removed.

OriaNest is a community platform, not a service for sexual solicitation or exploitation.

7. User-generated media and AI

Do not use AI-generated, synthetic, edited, or manipulated media to impersonate a real person or falsely portray their likeness, statements, or actions without appropriate authorization.

Do not use manipulated media to deceive, harass, defraud, threaten, or harm another person.

8. Groups and Villages

Group and Village spaces may have additional rules.

Group administrators may establish reasonable rules for their communities, but those rules may not conflict with the Terms of Service or these Community Guidelines.

Administrators should moderate their spaces responsibly and report serious violations to OriaNest.

Private or invite-only does not mean confidential. Members may still copy or share information outside a community.

9. Direct messages

Respect messaging boundaries.

Do not:

• repeatedly message someone who has declined contact;
• send threatening or abusive messages;
• send scams or unwanted promotional messages;
• impersonate someone;
• solicit sensitive personal information; or
• use messaging to circumvent a block or other safety control.

10. Nest audio conversations

Nest is intended for real-time community conversation.

Hosts and participants are responsible for maintaining a respectful environment.

Do not use Nest to:

• threaten or harass another person;
• promote illegal or dangerous activity;
• distribute prohibited content; or
• record or redistribute another participant's audio without appropriate authorization or as permitted by law.

11. Events and meeting people in person

Use good judgment when meeting people you know through OriaNest.

Consider meeting in public places, telling someone you trust where you are going, arranging your own transportation, and avoiding sharing sensitive personal information unnecessarily.

OriaNest cannot guarantee the identity or intentions of another member or the safety of a third-party event.

12. Spam and promotion

OriaNest may allow legitimate businesses, creators, communities, and members to share information about products, services, or events.

Do not use the platform for:

• repetitive unsolicited promotion;
• deceptive advertising;
• fake reviews or engagement;
• misleading offers; or
• spam campaigns.

Additional commercial policies may apply to paid promotions or business accounts.

13. Intellectual property

Only post content you have the right to share.

Do not upload another person's copyrighted work, trademark, photograph, private material, or other protected content unless you have appropriate permission or a lawful basis to use it.

14. Reporting and blocking

If you see content or behavior that violates these Guidelines:

1. Use the in-app report function when available.
2. Block the account when appropriate.
3. For serious safety concerns, contact OriaNest at safety@orianest.app.
4. For an immediate threat of physical harm, contact appropriate emergency services or law enforcement.

OriaNest may review reports using automated tools, human reviewers, or both.

We may remove content, restrict accounts, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or take other appropriate action.

15. Moderation and appeals

Not every report will result in removal. We evaluate reports based on the applicable Terms, Community Guidelines, context, available evidence, and safety considerations.

Where an appeal process is available, members may use it to request review of certain moderation decisions.

Moderation systems are not perfect. We may not identify every violation before it is reported or before a member encounters it.

16. Safety does not mean guaranteed safety

OriaNest works to create a safer community, but no online service can guarantee that every interaction will be safe or that every harmful person or piece of content will be identified.

Use your judgment and available safety controls.

17. Enforcement

Depending on the circumstances, violations may result in:

• content removal;
• a warning;
• feature restrictions;
• temporary suspension;
• permanent account termination; or
• referral to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.

Severe violations may result in immediate action.

18. Changes

These Guidelines may be updated as OriaNest grows and as community needs, product features, and legal requirements change.
